Our client is a small company specializing in providing essential products and services to consumers. They wish to hire Bookkeeper that will be responsible for all of the company's accounting needs including AP/AR, Payroll, Costing, Cash etc. 


Essential daily duties will include:-

  • Budget & Forecast
  • Financial Statements
  • AP/AR
  • Cash Management
  • Oversee Collections
  • Cut checks and vendor payments
  • Meet close deadlines for AP and Billing
  • Handle month end tasks
  • Directly review AP and AR audits
  • Review cash position each morning; provide update each afternoon on balances
  • Prepare, approve and print check payments
  • Void check payments and handle stop payments
  • Manage line of credit, ACH payments
  • Manage purchasing card spend; make payments and reconcile entries to the GL Manage Billing
  • Sales Tax - Reconcile and approve monthly returns; Handle state notices 
  • Manage Fixed Assets – audit GL to FA module quarterly; enter yearly depreciation entries 
  • Job Cost Accounting
  • Review AR Aging to have a proactive collections strategy

Job Requirements:-

  • Bachelors' Degree is preferred, not required
  • 3+ years in a similar role
  • Expertise must include Budget & Forecast, AP/AR, Payroll, Cash Management, Job Costing, Financial Statements etc.
  • QuickBooks and good Excel Skills
