One of our clients, an independent marketing cloud startup, is looking to expand and grow their team and are seeking a Corporate Paralegal to provide legal and business expertise in the evaluation, development, and negotiation of commercial transactions, contracts, requests for proposal. We will provide recommendations to business stakeholders and leaders and in the preparation, draft, and review of agreements. The right candidate will have working knowledge of contracting principles, a commitment to developing strong client relationships, and a wide complex of business competencies, knowledge and awareness that allow for a flexible and adaptive approach. Acoustic is a growing, global enterprise Marketing Automation SaaS company.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with internal business partners on contract details

  • Draft and revise contracts as updates become available
  • Work with all relevant involved teams to ensure contracts are in compliance
  • Monitor all contract deadlines and conditions to ensure all relevant payments are completed 

 Qualifications:

  • Demonstrable experience and skill negotiating and drafting commercial contracts
  • Paralegal certification or JD preferred; college degree required
  • Minimum 5 years extensive, broad-based experience in contracting and negotiations
  • Acts with a sense of urgency with ability to simultaneously lead multiple complex initiatives while consistently meeting timelines and milestones
  • Ability to work effectively on cross-functional (often virtual) teams
  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills are required
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
