At SpendHQ, Professional Services Associates are key to our commitment of achieving excellence in execution and guiding our clients with procurement expertise. Associates play a critical role in new client onboarding and delivering strategic procurement services. Associates will be asked to manage project workflows, lead client interactions, and work with key client stakeholders to define and achieve their procurement goals.

Associates are emerging leaders with 2-6 years of client facing and project management experience. The most common path to Associate is being promoted based on achievement and a high level of performance at the Analyst level. At this time, we are also actively recruiting experienced professionals who have demonstrated a similar track record of accomplishment and dedication to join at the Associate level.

Specific responsibilities include the following:

  • Develop and build relationships with clients
  • Collaborate with teams to efficiently execute on client projects
  • Manage SpendHQ, Insight Sourcing Group, and client resources as appropriate
  • Work with clients to identify, document, and interpret key business requirements
  • Coach clients on best practices for spend visibility, sourcing events, and organizational procurement strategy
  • Assist in developing and executing upon project strategies and project plans
  • Build consensus among client stakeholders
  • Facilitate client workshops with key stakeholders and client executives
  • Coordinate communications within and outside the project team
  • Support new product/service development within the firm and help launch efforts
  • Contribute to SpendHQ’s strategic decisions and direction
  • Limited travel, as needed

Qualifications:

  • 2-6 years of relevant professional experience
  • Strong work ethic and high level of integrity
  • Demonstrated project management, consulting, and analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written), including the ability to present comfortably to executives
  • Proficient at building and maintaining client relationships; proven client facing skills
  • Ability to effectively plan and manage multiple projects, tasks, and initiatives simultaneously
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office products, including the ability to develop and interpret complex analytical models and ad-hoc reports
  • Prefer procurement and strategic sourcing experience, but will develop with the right candidate
  • Comfortable in an entrepreneurial, performance-driven environment
  • B.S. in Business or Engineering and/or Management Consulting experience with strong GPA

Salary is commensurate with experience. This is a full-time, salaried position with a competitive benefits package. Limited travel, as needed (<20%)
