Our client is a mart leader in the Financial Services industry and they wish to hire a Finance Business Analyst to join their team supporting the development and deployment of business intelligence and risk management initiatives.

Essential daily duties will include:-

  • Document Business Unit Objectives
  • Project Management Support
  • Ad hoc System Queries
  • Report Development
  • 3rd Party Data Research & Procurement
  • Create Technical & User Docs
  • Train Users on New Systems & Tools
  • Query & Reporting QA
  • Support the development and delivery of financial risk measurement and management tools
  • Document requirements, methodologies, work flows, data structures, and solutions
  • Write T-SQL queries and create reports in SSRS to deliver information where it is needed in the organization
  • Create report prototypes in Excel
  • Test query and report results for accuracy and completeness
  • Assist in project management for multiple projects, including vendor communication and internal project status reporting
  • Assist in the roll-out of new systems and tools through documentation, user training, and support

Job Requirements:-

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a preferred technical or accounting specialization
  • Software education and/or certifications are a plus
  • Strong technical skills and interest in effective information system database design, development, and interrogation to solve problems and improve processes
  • T-SQL proficiency
  • Report Development in any reporting environment, SSRS preferred
  • Corporate accounting and finance background is a plus
  • Statistical background and familiarity with R is a plus
  • Programming background is a plus
  • Advanced Excel, should be comfortable using Excel’s advanced functions to create new reports and calculators from scratch.
