Finance Manager

One of our Gwinnett County client companies in the manufacturing industry is seeking a Financial Manager on a permanent, full-time basis. The targeted salary for this role is in the $80-95K range, depending on the strength of the candidate. This position is responsible for a variety of financial analyses and oversees the day-to-day support of the finance department. Finance Manager

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Direct financial projects and processes
  • Budgeting & forecasting
  • Variance analysis, monthly reporting
  • Inventory costing and capital expenditures 
  • Participate as strategic partner with the management team
  • Performance reporting vs business metrics
  • Participate in site continuous improvement efforts
  • Performing reconciliation of ERP transactions, inventories, labor and overhead to GL balances
  • Overseeing inventory cycle count programs 
  • Leading year-end cost rolls and inventory revaluations
  • Preparing and updating financial forecasts and analyses for corporate finance as requested

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) from four-year College or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and government regulations
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals
  • Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations
