Our client is a global manufacturing company and they wish to hire a Financial Systems Analyst that will review and streamline processes, enhancing internal financial controls, leveraging technology and resources to increase quality of financial transactions and reporting.

Essential daily duties will include:-
- Create division level journals, run allocations, balance and reconcile, consolidate and push to other systems
- Revalue inventory from standard to FIFO cost
- Resolve division level AP matching discrepancies
- Run exception reports - Research and resolve issues prior to closing to ensure transactions are recorded properly
- Run monthly standard costing updates
- Assist interface partners with data discrepancies/questions
- Set up facilities, warehouses, and items as needed and coordinate with business and interface partners
- Support business processes to ensure valid financial transactions, and respond to Audit requests
- Perform an annual system closing and GL posting
- Data Mart – Maintain structure, mappings and provide support
- Spreadsheet Server – Provide user support and troubleshoot issues
- Approve security access to systems and public drives, then audit that access
- Assist in the completion of yearly sales and tax reporting
- Blackline Admin – Maintain user access, training and provide support
Job Requirements:-
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
- 4+ years of experience in an Accounting or Analysis role
- Strong understanding or experience with GAAP and overall accounting functions
- SAP, Infinium, Infor or large ERP experience
- Basic understanding of inter-company transactions, and month end closing
- Conceptual understanding of the design and purpose of internal controls
- Aptitude and desire for learning new systems and improving processes through automation
- Experience with Excel – spreadsheet creation/editing, pivot tables, data manipulation/analysis and formula creation etc.
- Experience working with data analytics or visual data tools
