POSITION SUMMARY & KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
The analyst should have a keen eye for detail and be able to work with data to provide compelling presentations and interpret information to monitor trends, variances and decision-making support to the business. The ideal candidate will be able to operate independently and adapt to fast pace and ever-changing environment.
Gathers, organizes, and interprets financial data from multiple sources to create mid-month report packet for leadership, ensure compliance and access risks.
Reconciling credit card for outstanding transactions, unprocessed reporting and auditing receipts for policy violations and compliance.
Knowledge of Chart of Accounts and data flow to Balance Sheet and Profit Loss.
Designs and implements secure, efficient, and accurate reports.
Maintains current and accurate knowledge of data storage and management best practices.
Ensures that data reporting activities are completed on time.
Develops and maintains documentation and standards.
Oversees database development and modification efforts.
Performs other related projects as assigned.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Specifically Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Understanding of computer languages used within database.
Understanding of database design and construction.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Mathematics, Accounting, Finance or Computer Science or equivalent work experience required.
1-2 years in Data Processing, with at least two years of experience with database management systems; OR equivalent education.
