Senior Accountant - Financial Reporting

Our client is seeking a talented and collaborative candidate to be part of the Financial Reporting team at their corporate office in Doraville GA. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules in accordance with U.S. GAAP (SEC equivalent 10-Ks/10-Qs).

Assist with the consolidation process and administration of HFM application, foreign currency, reconciliations to source ledgers, review and maintenance of cash flow logic, and maintenance of metadata and mapping files.

Assist in researching accounting guidance.

Assist in implementing new accounting guidance, or other guidance issued.

Maintain books and records for various corporate accounting areas including: leases, debt, equity, and stock-based compensation.

Assist in documentation and monitoring of internal controls.

Interface with external/internal auditors in managing requests concerning processes and deliverables.

Other projects as assigned.


Bachelor’s or higher degree in Accounting or Finance.

High degree of initiative and intellectual curiosity. Critical thinking skills with timely, effective decision making.

CPA or CPA candidate with strong understanding of accounting and financial statement presentation.

2+ years accounting/finance experience, public accounting experience preferred.

Highly detail oriented and ability to multitask and meet assigned deadlines.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service focus.

Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from manager to accomplish objectives.

Experience with MS Office (excellent Excel skills), HFM/Smart view/Hyperion.

Familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley regulations; experience in drafting control narratives and/or monitoring/testing controls a plus.
