Our client is a global manufacturer and they wish to hire a Senior Financial Analyst that will be the finance business partner for the IT leadership team, supporting the consolidated management reporting and financial analysis for IT Organization.


Essential daily duties will include:-

  • Coordinate allocations and reconciliations with internal finance and business partners
  • Foster results-focused innovation by introducing impactful and effective financial reporting and analytics for IT and reduce complexities of cost allocation and exception handling across partners
  • Build a trusted partnership with the IT leadership team to support their timely and effective decisions
  • Ensure all periodic close processes are executed on time
  • Create management reports, variance and trend analyses of IT spend, and financial review packages for each business segment supported by IT
  • Support leaders through strategic financial perspectives and optics for them to manage/impact their areas of responsibility more effectively
  • Provide concise and insightful commentary on financial and operational results
  • Collaborate with members of IT team to support portfolio decisions by developing financial, sensitivity and cost/benefit analyses
  • Understand and track IT projects, providing financial insights to leadership as projects progress
  • Support IT Lead team with various ad hoc requests and create financial presentations
  • Identify opportunities to improve billing procedures with suppliers to simplify allocation by cost cente
  • Maintain an accurate reconciliation, with relevant detail, of IT headcount and associated analysis
  • Drive the annual planning and forecasting cycles and its continuous improvement

Job Requirements:-

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role of Financial Analysis and Management Reporting
  • Demonstrated experience in collaborating with and supporting a senior management team and executives in Information Technology
  • Excellent skills in Excel and integrated financial system
  • Any experience with Power BI or Tableau etc., is a big plus
  • Experience in integrating financial reporting with portfolio and resource management tools is a plus
  • Sound understanding of economic-thinking principles, financial analysis, cost accounting and project accounting
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles
  • Experience with supporting Information Technology organizations
  • Experience in supporting multiple levels of management and executives
  • Strong visual, presentation and written communication skills
