Our client is an International market leader in their industry, providing essential niche services to companies that enable some to be more efficient in their day to day operations. They wish to hire an Senior Manager of FP&A that will serve as a key member of the leadership team and be the financial interface within the finance organization, operational management team and Executive Team. This position will report directly to the CFO and will lead the company’s financial planning and analysis group.

Essential daily duties will include:-

  • Drive performance and accountability across the business, through utilization of KPI's and providing relevant financial information at all levels of the organization
  • Provide strategic insight and recommendations to the business on its financial performance, focusing on key drivers including models, trends, and analytical needs
  • Lead the financial planning and analysis process including budgeting, forecasting, actuals, reporting and analysis in collaboration with the Executive team, operations and finance
  • Prepare monthly reporting package
  • Builds the annual financial plan through effective coordination with all other functions in the development of targets assumptions and strategic initiatives to be included.
  • People Management and Leadership
  • Partner with Shared Services VP
  • Assist in the preparation of investor communications/presentations, including earnings release
  • Develop and prepare Board of Director and Executive team meetings financial material
  • Prepare Management Discussion & Analysis section of 10Q/10K & related support material/ analysis
  • Prepare 3-5 year financial models to support finance transactions for acquisitions, capital raises or debt refinancing
  • Perform financial due diligence on potential acquisition targets
  • Review and validate annual business plans, financial forecasts and ad hoc financial analysis to ensure business leaders understand the implications of change and timely, effective and well-informed decisions are made

 

Job Requirements:-

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, MBA preferred
  • CPA is a plus
  • 10+ years Finance Management experience with progressively increasing responsibilities
  • Ideally have experience in a public multinational company
  • Demonstrated ability to create financial models and performance metrics in partnership with business leaders for effective results
  • Experience with large database driven financial reporting systems
  • Expert technical knowledge of financial statements, accounting knowledge, financial modeling and reporting techniques
  • Expert financial planning/Budgeting/Forecasting experience required
  • Extensive information systems and data mining expertise
  • Prior experience in systems, process implementations
  • Outstanding financial acumen blended with business partnership and leadership skills.
  • Ability to dive into the operations of a business
  • Provide sound business judgment as well as financial and business perspective across the organization
  • Experience with presentations to senior management and board level personnel
  • Ability to travel to National and International office locations as required
