Sr. Financial Analyst - Shared Services

Alpharetta - Windward Pkwy

This Sr. Financial Analyst will be responsible for working with multiple cross-functional partners across finance, accounting, and the various functions that we support – including direct interaction with executive business partners. The Sr. Financial Analyst will play a critical role supporting corporate finance in the areas of G&A shared services (finance, accounting, legal, HR, procurement, facilities, and other areas). The primary responsibilities of the position include supporting the forecasting and budgeting processes as well as driving other accounting, analytical, and reporting needs including monthly reporting and analysis of results.

Job Responsibilities

Complete variance analyses for month to date and year to date financial results against budget, prior year and forecast

Continue to enhance effectiveness by building simple and effective analytical tools which enable better trend analysis and forecasting capabilities

Develop and monitor shared service allocations (allocating centralized costs to the individual business units)

Support the development of automated reporting, dashboards, and visualization tools to improve speed and accuracy of insights

Various other standard and ad hoc projects and initiatives, as required

Minimum Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree required with preference toward a degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related quantitative discipline. CPA/MBA preferred.

3-5 years of professional experience in a corporate finance or related function with a demonstrated record of success

Must have extremely strong MS Excel skills and experience with financial consolidation, reporting, and forecasting tools

Critical Skills

Financial modeling expertise a must

Financial systems experience required, TM1 and Oracle experience is preferred

Ability to summarize and present transaction volume/trends to management

Strong interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with all levels of the organization

Demonstrated quantitative analytical skills required

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Financial business partner experience preferred

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to multi-task and work in a challenging fast paced environment

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Maturity, professionalism, and high level of discretion are required

Comfort dealing with ambiguity

Strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude

Independent worker and analytical thinker with an ability to conduct research, data analysis and resolve complex problems

Strong presence with the ability to interact with Senior Leadership
