AR/Cash Application Specialist

firstPRO 360 is seeking an AR/Cash Application Specialist for an immediate opportunity in Atlanta, GA. General duties include, but are not limited to: Processing cash deposits, credits and overpayments to the general ledger, apply payments through various methods, and researching payment history and unapplied/misapplied payments for accuracy. Experience utilizing ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP is highly preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain daily, weekly and monthly reports for all incoming payments and refunds
• Process and post cash deposits, misapplied payments, chargebacks, credits and overpayments to the general ledger
• Apply payments received by various methods (Lockbox, ACH, Wire)
• Process adjustments and write-offs to invoices
• Assist with daily reconciliations to ensure applications are complete and accurate
• Research inaccuracies with payments that have been posted, or that are missing and need to be applied correctly 
• Partner with Collections in resolving disputed payment applications

Qualifications:

• Prior AR/Cash Applications experience is required
• Experience utilizing large-size ERP systems, such as Oracle or SAP
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Ability to build rapport with clients and customers
