firstPRO is seeking a Billing Analyst for a permanent opportunity in Sandy Springs. The ideal candidate will have high volume billing and portal billing experience.

Overview:

The Billing Analyst will be responsible for managing all aspects of the billing process including creating and submitting invoices, coordinating with the billing manager, and ensuring the accuracy of billing information. The ideal candidate will have Excel skills, experience with various billing platforms (Ariba, Coupa, Oracle, FieldGlass, etc), and knowledge of basic accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and submit invoices to clients on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Collaborate with the Billing Manager to ensure accurate and timely billing processes.
• Maintain accurate records of PO funding and financial projections.
• Set up new consultant placements with accurate billing information.
• Upload invoices to various online portals as required by clients.
• Generate and analyze billing reports; present findings to relevant stakeholders.
• Work directly with clients to address billing inquiries and resolve issues.
• Review customer contracts to understand billing requirements and ensure compliance.
• Research and resolve billing issues, including contract review and client discussions.
• Assist in completing month-end close duties to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

Qualifications:

• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis pivot tables, vlookups.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to resolve billing issues effectively.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information appropriately.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.

Preferred Prerequisites:

• Familiarity with Bullhorn, Dynamics 365, SAP Ariba, FieldGlass, Coupa, and Oracle.
• Previous experience (2-3 years) in a billing role with a strong understanding of billing processes.
