Technical Accounting Manager

We’re partnering with a growing, well-established company in the Atlanta area that’s looking to add a Technical Accounting Manager to its team. This role will oversee core accounting operations, support monthly close and financial reporting, and help scale processes as the business continues to grow.

This is a great opportunity for someone coming from public accounting into industry, or an industry accountant ready to step into leadership. CPA is strongly preferred!

• Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
• Prepare and review financial statements, including full P&L ownership
• Review balance sheet and account reconciliations for accuracy and completeness
• Ensure a strong understanding of revenue recognition, EBITDA, and financial drivers
• Oversee general ledger activity, journal entries, and supporting schedules
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff; review work and provide development feedback
• Support audits, tax filings, and compliance requirements
• Drive process improvements, automation, and system enhancements
• Partner cross-functionally with finance, operations, and leadership

what we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA (or in progress)
• 5–8+ years of accounting experience (public, industry, or a blend of both)
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
• Proven experience reviewing reconciliations and owning the full P&L
• ERP experience
• Strong communication and organizational skills
